beautiful blue kitchen refresh on a budget
When budget and timeframe are tight, it takes creative problem solving to achieve a fresh new kitchen look. And that is just what happened in this quick and cost friendly kitchen remodel.

The original kitchen had last seen love back in the 1990s with its yellow oak cabinetry and granite countertops. It was old, outdated, but overall functional. The first step to keeping the cost of this kitchen down was to keep the layout the same as well as the existing appliances and cabinet bases.
Brightening up the room, new cabinet door fronts in a simple shaker white were installed, as well as a new white quartz countertop. A subtle grey blue tile backsplash ties in both the existing stainless steel appliances and bold navy blue island that sits in the center of this kitchen design. To add some extra contrast to the now bright white kitchen, matte black hardware gives this kitchen the modern feel it deserves.

The results? A stunning kitchen transformation that didn't break the budget. The takeaway from this project? A fresh coat of paint can do wonder.
